Cook up an Indian feast with Maunika Gowardhan

Join us in celebrating the launch of Tandoori Home Cooking by world-renowned chef and best-selling author, Maunika Gowardhan. In this very special class Maunika shares a collection of her favourite recipes, which she gathered while eating her way across the cities of India. She’ll also reveal her techniques for achieving that classic tandoori taste in your own kitchen.

Cooking in pairs, Maunika will teach you how to make:

  • Hariyali murgh tikka: A spicy green chicken tikka with mint, chilli and coriander
  • Shakarkandi chaat: Sweet potato chaat with tamarind, pickled onions, green chutney and sev
  • Zafrani paneer tikka: Saffron-infused paneer with chilli, creamy yoghurt and pepper
  • Tawa roti: Quick flamed-cooked flatbreads

To accompany all of that, will be:

  • Hari mirch ki chutney (green chilli chutney)
  • Tangy tamarind chutney
  • Grilled lemons
  • Sirke wali mirch (pickled whole chillies)

At the end of the class, you’ll sit down to enjoy your feast with a well-earned glass of wine and a sweet treat to finish.
