Quick Details
Bursting with bold flavour, vibrant colour and beautiful fresh ingredients, Thai street food is a feast for all the senses. In this hands-on class, you’ll transport yourself to the bustling streets of Bangkok by rustling up three showstopping Thai-style dishes.
Get to grips with the four essential taste sensations – salty, sour, sweet and hot – and discover how to perfectly balance them.
Uncover the secrets to creating a lip-smacking tom yum soup, complete with fragrant lemongrass, fiery galangal and juicy prawns.
Stir-fry quality bavette steak or mushrooms & tofu until sizzling hot, then toss in an umami-packed sauce with dark soy sauce, garlic and chilli. Garnish with the holy trinity of Thai herbs – coriander, mint and Thai basil. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lime juice and extra fresh red chilli, if you dare!
Then, pound staple Thai ingredients into a sweet and sour dressing and toss through crunchy veg for a next-level side salad.
We’ll also let you in on the secret to creating perfect fluffy rice, every time, before you sit down at our chef’s table to tuck into your Thai street food spread.
