A veg-packed Italian cookery class hosted by Gennaro Contaldo
Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of vegetables with the iconic Gennaro Contaldo as your guide. In this 3-hour class, you’ll learn how to command big flavour from humble veg, using vibrant recipes from Gennaro’s brand new cookbook, Verdure.
Gennaro will show you how to make a beautiful Gnocchi di spinaci (spinach gnocchi) and Saltimbocca di zucchine (baked courgette with fontina and prosciutto), then it’s your turn to get cooking! You’ll enjoy your delicious Italian creations at our chef’s table, alongside Cavolfiore al forno con funghi e formaggio (baked cauliflower with mushrooms and cheese), made for you by the don of Italian cooking himself.
To finish, you’ll watch Gennaro whip up a Torta di carote e mandorle (carrot and almond cake), before enjoying a slice with an ice-cold glass of limoncello. Bellissimo!
