Join Ixta Belfrage, one of the most exciting talents in the food industry, for a unique take on the kaleidoscopic food cultures of Brazil – her mother’s homeland. You’ll get to know Ixta’s signature creative style through four flavour-packed dishes taken from her eagerly anticipated second cookbook, FUSÃO (meaning ‘fusion’ in Portuguese). Expect fascinating conversation, fresh inspiration and ridiculously good food.
-
- Stuff roasted kabocha squash with spiced coconutty prawns, then grill until golden, bubbling and irresistible
- Knock up a fiery mango dressing, which you’ll brush onto skewered okra and roast until just cooked, Ixta-style. Serve on a bed of garlicky yoghurt with an extra drizzle of mango dressing for good measure
- Get stuck in making lamb-stuffed cabbage rolls that you’ll fry until golden, then drench in a fragrant tomato broth, before finishing with garlic oil and a good squeeze of lime
- Discover Ixta’s secret to her Moqueca fish burgers – a genius reimagining of a traditional Bahian seafood stew made with azeite de dendê. Then tuck into mini slider versions – think soft brioche buns piled high with crispy fish fillets, crunchy slaw and smooth Moqueca sauce that’s perfect for dunking
-
- Camarão na moranga (prawn in pumpkin)
- Okra skewers with mango dressing
- Charutos with spicy tomato broth & garlic oil
- Moqueca fish burgers
