Immerse yourself in a day of Italian cuisine with our Jamie Cooks Italy class
Eat your way around the country, as you learn how to create some of our favourite recipes from Jamie’s iconic book and TV show. First up, our chefs will demonstrate the key to creating an indulgent Beef cheek ragù. We’ll then pay a visit to Naples and whip up an indulgent Pizza fritta with show-stopping tomato sauce. Next, you’ll master the art of handmade Potato gnocchi inspired by the way they make it in Rome.
Our chefs will then guide us south towards the Aeolian Islands, where you’ll learn how to cook the perfect Stuffed braised squid. You’ll discover the secret to a seriously good salad, then put that into practice throwing together a colourful medley of Grilled apricots, mozzarella, pink peppercorns and prosciutto.
Finally, we’ll head north towards Turin to put together an indulgent Gianduja – the original Nutella – from scratch. On our journey, you’ll hone your knife skills, discover the brilliance of braising, and pick up the knack to kneading dough.
Throughout the day, you’ll have plenty of chances to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labour. And once we’re done cooking and learning, we’ll celebrate with a feast of Beef cheek ragù, handmade Potato gnocchi, and Gianduja paired with fresh fruit – all washed down with a delicious glass of wine.
